Lone Mountain Ranch

Discover our hidden valley in the Northern Rockies of Montana tucked beneath one of the most stunning mountain peaks in the world, Lone Peak.  Full of adventures, the Ranch provides an opportunity to reconnect with your family, your friends or yourself.  The heritage and history of the old homestead shines through, as warm as the authentic smiles of the crew. After extraordinary adventures by day, the stars emerge while guests share laughs over dinner and fine wine before tucking themselves away in a cozy cabin with a crackling fire.

Summer activities include horseback riding, hiking, kids program, Yellowstone Park trips, mountain biking, canoeing, fly-fishing with our Orvis® Endorsed guides, whitewater rafting and ziplining.

Winter activities abound with 85km of cross country skiing, 30km of snowshoeing, backcountry skiing, Yellowstone snowcoach tours and fly-fishing, along with downhill skiing and dogsledding nearby.

We also offer massage and yoga during both summer and winter seasons.

Our all inclusive packages offer lodging in a cozy cabin or a room in our Ridgetop Lodge, all meals and snacks, activities, live music, evening programs and transportation to and from the Bozeman Airport.

Cuisine:
The dining experience at Lone Mountain Ranch is approached with unwavering care. Meals are epicurean exercises taking advantage of locally produced offerings where possible and prepared to satisfy the kind of appetite that develops after outdoor adventures. Breakfasts typically unfold with the likes of oatmeal, fresh fruit, banana pancakes and scrambled eggs served buffet style. Lunch offers a salad and soup bar as well as featured hot items like chicken parmesan. Dinner is a time to gather back as a family and share stories of the day over a three-course meal, including Crispy Panko Fried Jumbo Tiger Shrimp, Cast Iron Roasted Statler Chicken Breast and 12 oz. Grilled All Natural Angus New York Striploins. For those nights that call for something simpler, the burger or pulled pork sandwich hit the spot after a day of adventures
Entertainment:
We have live music several nights each week that may include a local bluegrass trio, a cowboy entertainer or a western duet. During the summer, our music is often around a cracking campfire.
