The Hideaway provides an enchanting mix of outdoor adventures and serenity in the setting of a very large, working ranch in the Rocky Mountains. What does this mean for a guest considering visiting our ranch? First of all, visits to our ranch center around outdoor activities. Many guests enjoy the "off the beaten path" horseback rides through the wildflower dotted meadows and enchanting forests of our ranch. Wildlife watching, educational hikes, goldpanning expeditions, 4 wheel drive safaris, and fishing trips all have highlighted guest's trips into our ranch. Many guests enjoy the fact that our ranch hosts just a few guests each week. More than one guest has enjoyed the mix of outdoor fun with the day to day activities of our working ranch. "Cattle drive" trips and cattlework activities all give guests an opportunity to experience the reality of life on a ranch. More than one guest has commented that " that the Hideaway just feels like a home away from home. The cabins though rustic in appearance are very comfortable." Besides the blend of action and serenity, trips to our ranch may include some off the ranch activities. Almost every trip can include a visit to a rodeo around the area or day trips to local museums. The Lewis & Clark Expedition followed the Missouri River that runs through our valley. Perhaps a quote from one of our guests gives a better description of our ranch than we can give. " I found the Flynn family as great stewards of their ranch, the mountains, wildlife, and open spaces. In the beginning, I would have said your ranch & my great experience as " a picture that paints a thousand words." I was wrong. Your ranch is a painting of a thousand pictures each a rich blend of a thousand words! Thank you!" -----
